The MechBoardZX replacement mechanical keyboard membrane for Sinclair ZX Spectrum 16K/48K
This board is usable as keyboard membrane replacement for ZX Spectrum computer (for model with rubber). Specification:
ANTIGHOSTING EFFECT enable press more keys in same time. MechBoardZX enable in ZX games
with redefine keys use own keys combinations without limits, because here is not mirror effect as on
original keyboard membrane. Now is possible with
BACK LIGHT EFFECT under each key you can add small LED diode for back light.
Board thickness 0.6mm enable easy installation under rubber keyboard. Connection of flat cables is
MECHANICAL TACTILE SWITCHES under each key enable clicking effect for verify if key is pressed.
Flat cables from MechBoardZX may be direct connected to keyboard connectors on ZX mainboard.

BACK LIGHT EFFECT – you can build one pattern from 3 different color pattern of your choose:
- – Original Sinclair Logo Pattern (Red, Yellow, Green & Blue arranged diagonally) or
- – Horizontal Sinclair Logo Pattern(Red, Yellow, Green & Blue arranged horizontally) or
- – White color
